Are you new to Italki? Here's how to use Italki to improve your target language using the Italki platform. Do you want 'Free language exchange'? If you do, then click on the Community button at the top of the Italki page and go to the Community message board. Click on the create button and select one of the options. Make a post that mentions your language and your target language and that you want a free language exchange partner. See who responds to your post. Reply to those that respond to your post. Do you want help from a community tutor on Italki? Go to 'Find a Teacher' button at the top of the Italki page. You can select teacher type then community tutor. You can also search by where the tutor is from. Price. What they can help with. Once you see a profile of a tutor that you want to help you, read their profile completely BEFORE booking a lesson with them. ALSO fill out the lesson inquiry/contact form BEFORE booking a lesson with them. Learn about them and inform them FIRST before booking a lesson. Do not just pick someone based on their photo or their location. Do you want help from a certified teacher on Italki? It's the same process as finding a tutor except when you go to 'Find a Teacher' then Teacher Type select Professional teacher. Once you see a profile of a teacher that you want to help you, read their profile completely BEFORE booking a lesson with them. ALSO fill out the lesson inquiry/contact form BEFORE booking a lesson with them. Learn about them and inform them FIRST before booking a lesson. Good luck!!
