I am passionate about what I love and what I think and it is for these reasons my life entails plenty of art, literature, films, traveling, dancing and animals. I am also patient and love to analyze and understand what I'm interested in because for me the "otherness" is an important part of who I am. That is why knowing people and sharing thoughts with them is extremely important to me.

I can relate to my students because I remember what it was like to also be a student when I took French and English. Therefore, my experiences in learning have allowed me to address my own native language as an external phenomenon which assists me in understanding my student's unique struggle with specific topics.
I love inviting my students into the new world of Spanish realities, because it will enable them not only to speak Spanish but to also understand it in a cultural, social and human context.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are focused on grammar because structure is critical since it is the very foundation of the language. However, structure is only a part of language and so it is important to incorporate the social, cultural and historical aspects of Spanish into the learning experience because these three serve to transform and adapt Spanish according to and in alignment with the human condition.
Each class that my student takes part in will include conversation, grammar, reading and listening skill activities which allows for an exchange and engagement between the student and myself. I guarantee I will challenge each student but also make their experience fun and real.My teaching material

I’m two weeks into Nycole’s one-month Spanish Intensive course and it’s hands-down the most productive learning experience I’ve ever had on my language learning journey.
Within these past two weeks I learned how to form FULL SENTENCES in past, present, and future tense. I’ve experience immediate success after each two-hour session, and find myself being able to read and listen so much more effectively.
Nycole is patient and motivating— she challenges you just enough to practice the material learned in class without you feeling overwhelmed. I also find her podcasts very helpful, and find myself learning a lot about Colombia in the process.
Overall I’m incredibly satisfied with the effectiveness of her teaching method, and look forward to completing this one-month intensive and also continue working with her afterwards to improve my conversational skills!

The best! She seriously is a kick @$$ teacher, one of the best on here. Every session is productive. She has a gift for tailoring the lessons to your learning style, and language level to meet your needs. Only book with her if you want to really improve your Spanish, and have an awesome teacher that takes the time to understand what you really need to get to the level you want.
