My name is Fliss. I am a fully-qualified TEFL teacher, and offer English lessons to intermediate and advanced level learners. Maybe you are studying towards the IELTS academic or general exam and need a band score of 7 or above? Maybe you live overseas, but need to improve your English in order to communicate with offices located in English-speaking countries? I am also a professional proofreader and editor. Therefore, I can help you with any aspect of English writing. Perhaps you need help with a job application form or tips on essay writing? I hold a BA (Hons) French Studies, DALF C1 Advanced French Certificate, and am now learning Spanish! My main hobbies are cycling and the outdoors.教学经验
I am a fun teacher and always have plenty of subjects to discuss with my students, which help expand their English vocabulary. This is particularly important for those hoping to study at an English speaking university or working in an English speaking country. I am an experienced language learner myself. I have learnt French since my childhood, and so am fully aware of the challenges, frustrations and difficulties associated with learning a language. However, it can be so very rewarding too. I am offering conversational lessons, adapted to suit your level of English. I am interested in a vast range of topics including history, politics, current affairs, economics, philosophy, society, sport, nature and different cultures. It is through discussing diverse subjects that you can enhance your vocabulary. During the discussion I can correct grammar errors, suggest alternative words, and help with pronounciation. Lessons can be structured as general discussions, debates, presentations, or I can offer role-playing tasks, especially if you are seeking to work in the UK and need help with interview techniques.
