Hello everyone. I'm Tom from Japan. I'm a Japanese native speaker and I would like to help you improve your Japanese. I look forward to meeting new students and speaking Japanese together in a relaxed way.

Prior to my teaching career, I have more than 15 year working experience in IT and educational institutions. I also have a managerial experience in business, so I can share how to use Business Japanese in various situations with you. I have taught students from different countries for more than 2,500 lessons on italki as well as provided one-on-one lessons for business persons working in Japan. I ask students to try their Japanese as much as possible to check what they can do and can't. If necessary, I will explain meanings or grammar points in English.

For many learners, I believe that time they have with the tutor for lessons is limited. Tom先生 is a great teacher. We started to work through the first lesson of the Tobira II textbook to learn and consolidate grammar and vocabulary, while practicing speaking and reading skills. Looking forward to next class!
