Hi there! my name is Matheo, I'm a native Spanish speaker, I was born and live in the land of Encanto, that's right, ¡Colombia! I work in digital marketing, and this has allowed me to collaborate with different teams around the world. I'm passionate about traveling and cultures. I'm very curious and with me you can talk about anything comes to your mind, from music, literature, politics, cooking, philosophy, history and many more topics, there are endless possibilities.

I'm not a professional teacher neither a conventional one, so with me you will not see complex structures and monotonous methods to learn a language. I like to do things in a fun way, teach through real life cases and practical examples. I've good social skills that will help us a lot to progress in our classes, create pleasant atmospheres while we have fun and learning at the same time. I'm also very adaptable which will allow us to study no matter what level you are at.

My classes are in a relaxed and nice environment. We will not learn by levels, instead of, we'll work with didactic and practical cases, with useful tools for speaking, listening, and writing. I always enjoy my classes with Matheo! It's very fun and relaxed while still helping me to pin point areas of improvement. He's definitely one of the best teachers I've had on Italki and would recommend him to anyone as he's very personable and works with you at your level.

Mattheo is an excellent conversationalist. He made me feel very comfortable by asking lots of questions, typing out unknown words, gently correcting me and encouraging me to speak more. I’ll definitely have more classes with him.

I've taken 3 classes with Matheo so far. The "classes" don't feel like classes. It feels more like I'm just chatting with a friend while practicing my Spanish and learning about hispanic culture and people, which is great. Our "classes" have been fun and conversations have been very engaging and interesting. Matheo is a very cool guy. Fun, dynamic, easy going, patient, approachable. Highly recommend taking classes with Matheo.
