Hello, my name is Nicolas. I am French and I lived and worked in France, Canada, Turkey, China, Thailand, Croatia and Egypt. I work part-time as a freediving instructor and skipper in Europe and Southeast Asia while teaching languages since 2015. As a TEFL-certified English teacher, I've taught French and English to children and adults from different levels, either tutoring, volunteering or in language schools with 1-on-4 or 1-on-8 group classes . Lessons will focus on encouraging you to practice orally as this is the best way to understand your conversation partner, to be understood and thus improve your fluency. You will feel at ease as lessons will be tailored to your needs, your language level, your interests and your personal goals. You will learn quickly and efficiently with highly interactive classes, led in a fun and engaging way.

Nico is for me an ideal instructor...knowledgeable, patient, helpful and he keeps each lesson moving forward. Each week I end up with some topic to research that is of interest to me and that becomes the focus of next week's lesson. While it's challenging to be able to hold my own in a conversation in French, I am much more comfortable than when I began just a few weeks ago.

I have had a few lessons with Nico now and I must say that he is an outstanding teacher. I already know a but if french already, but I can say that he definitely comes up with great methods to help me remember important French phrases. We have great conversations and he asks very intriguing questions. He is also always prepared, has a great attitude throughout our lessons, and takes notes with things I had trouble with. After lessons, he messages me important French words and expressions that I had trouble with during our lesson, and gives me explanations of how to improve. This guy goes way above and beyond!
