Hi, I'm Louise and I love teaching English. I would be delighted to help you on your English learning journey.
I currently live near Brighton in the South of England, but I have also lived in Beijing, Costa Rica and Spain.

I am highly qualified with both the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA. I have been teaching for seventeen years, including teaching over 2,500 hours online.
The most frequent feedback I get from my students is that I’m very patient and encouraging, and that they love the energy in my classes.
In Business English, I specialise in teaching professional English skills for succeeding in management roles.
I love teaching Cambridge preparation courses - I have many years' experience helping my students achieve the scores they need in the IELTS, FCE, CAE and CPE

I believe communicative lessons are the most effective, so although we can cover any skill you need in our sessions together, it will always be combined with plenty of speaking practice.
I think the best way to learn new grammar and vocabulary is in context. My students find this way helps them understand the meaning and rules more clearly. After learning it, there will be more speaking practice to ensure you remember it.
In addition to error correction, I like provide more advanced alternatives to the simpler language you are already using correctly.
I give reading and listening exercises for homework so that we have interesting topics to talk about in the following lesson.Мой учебный материал

I studied for IELTS exam with Louise. Great experience! Louise energizes, supports and encourages you. I received a lot of invaluable information and advice on exam strategy. She constantly suggested synonyms for my speaking in order to make it more diverse and more precise.
It was very helpful to check essays together. She helped me realize that my writing wasn't as bad as I thought. Louise analyzes each sentence in detail, explaining what is good about it, what can be improved and how to do it.
She even suggested how to use symbols £ € º on the exam which I didn't know about.

The lesson was nice! We spoke about IELTS writing component and trained a speaking part. Louise is a great teacher, she gives a lot of feedback, makes difficult things easy and has already helped me a lot with my essays. I can only recommend her.

Louise is a great teacher who is helping me to prepare for IELTS for the second time. She explains her suggestions in detail for essays and provides all of the necessary materials after lessons which truly helps to achieve a higher score on the exam. Thanks a lot!
