皆さん、こんにちは！はじめまして！
日本の横浜出身ですが、ロンドンには１０年間、NZに３年間住み、2023年にアイルランドに引っ越しました。
他言語や文化に興味があり、大学では言語学を勉強しました。今はイタリア語を勉強しています。
日本では、言語聴覚士として10年間働き、2016年から日本語を教えています。
自己紹介を読んでくださり、ありがとうございました。
Hi everyone! My name is Ami. I'm from Yokohama, but I'm living in Ireland. I had lived in London for ten years and NZ for three years.
I like other languages and culture and I studied linguistics in my university in London. I' m learning Italian now.
I also like to travel abroad to know other culture or eat local foods.
I had worked as a speech therapist in Japan for 10 years. and I have been teaching Japanese since 2016.

2016年に日本語教師の資格取得以降、ロンドン、オークランドにてオフライン、オンラインにて13歳から60歳までの初級から上級レベルの生徒さん100人以上に教えてきました。生徒さんの国籍は様々でニュージーランド人、イギリス人、アメリカ人、フランス人、イタリア人、スペイン人、ポーランド人、ロシア人、中国人等の生徒さんに教えてきました。
またJLPTや大学の試験対策、日常会話、ビジネス会話を教えてきました。
外国語を学ぶのは難しいですが、皆様の日本語上達に向け、手助けできたら幸いです。
I have worked as a qualified Japanese teacher for 6 years in London and NZ. I have given lessons to students who are from 13 - 60 years old, from completely beginners to advanced. and they are from NZ, UK, USA, France, Italy, Spain, other European countries, China, etc.
I have taught more than 100 students with different aims.

レッスン形式は生徒さんの希望に沿う形にしており、教科書や新聞記事中心のレッスン、会話中心のレッスン、旅行会話中心のレッスン、JLPTや大学の試験対策などを行うことができます。教材は生徒さんのレベルに合わせ、決めています。
また言語聴覚士でもあるため、生徒さんの発音には特に注意をしており、正しい発音へと導けるように努力しています。
My lesson styles depend on students.
At first, I ask students how they would like to learn Japanese and what their aims or goals to learn Japanese are. Then, I suggest how we could have lessons. I can give lesson based on textbookds, exam preparetions such as JLPT or university exams, or conversations like daily conversation or travel conversation.
We can discus lesson styles anytime.
Also, as a speech therapist, I always try to help student's pronouniation!

Ami-sensei has been a great teacher for me. Language learning definitely does not come naturally for me, but in our lessons I never feel stupid and I feel like I'm making steady progress and actually retaining the things I learn.

Another great lesson! Conjugations can always be challenging when learning a new language, but Ami 先生 approaches them in a logical way that makes it less daunting for me to grasp. As always, I appreciated the interactive nature of the lesson.

Another great lesson! I was confused about verb conjugations prior to this session but Ami 先生 cleared it up for me, along with covering tenses. We did some fun listening/speaking exercises as well!

Had another great lesson with Ami Sensei! We did more conversation practice for this session and she gave good feedback. I've been enjoying how we've been building up to being able to have a conversation after laying the initial groundwork.

Had my second lesson with Ami and I've been enjoying them so far! She makes a lot of the more difficult concepts easy to understand and makes sure to walk through examples with me so I fully grasp what she's teaching.
