I grew up in Arizona in the United States, but now I live on the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. I am a native English speaker, but my wife is from Mexico and we mainly speak Spanish in our home. Our daughters are bilingual and can switch effortlessly between the two languages.
I have traveled all over North America (United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America), and much of Western Europe. I lived for three years in Berlin, Germany, and three years in Hermosillo Mexico where I worked in a bilingual school.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am CELTA certified (University of Cambridge), TEFL certified, and Business English Certified. I am also in the process of finalizing a B.A. from the CENEVAL in Mexico for teaching English as a foreign language. I first taught English in Hermosillo, Mexico in the early 1990s. I am a certified public school teacher in the United States (Arizona, Texas) with over 30 years of experience. I have a B.A. in History and three master's degrees in Educational Administration, Educational Technology, and History/Political Science, plus a doctorate in Instructional Leadership.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to have fun and I am laid back, but I am also serious that my students learn and make good progress. I am CELTA trained in communicative methods, but I also like to use a more direct style when it benefits my students. I use a professional curriculum for both General English and for Business English. I have a wide variety of materials that I can use to tailor your lessons, especially in current events, history, and geography. If you need to focus on Business English, I have a strong background in administration and we can focus on a variety of activities to improve your English in practical, useful areas. I had to complete all of the CELTA requirements, including completing the study units, the four assignments, fours hours of observation of professional teachers, and more than six hours of supervised instruction of EFL students.

I had to study the materials, interact, and pass exams after each unit to progress. Mr. Steve is nice, fun and knowledgeable! Also, he is a greatly professional teacher, since he would not only use all informative materials to teach me, but also figure out the most appropriate way to help me to improve. I gain a lot and am grateful! It’s wonderful for me to the classes to hone my speaking skills and study knowledge of history at the same time! What’s more, he will correct my pronunciation and make it sounds better!
