Hi, I'm Dylan, let's work on your spoken English and improve your confidence. I believe that the most effective way for someone to improve their spoken English is through general conversations. As a teacher, I tend to build a rapport with students and discover their hobbies and interests to incorporate them into lessons. This makes it a fun and relatable learning experience. I assess the language level of my students through these conversations and look for core areas that the student needs to improve on such as grammar and pronunciation. Valuable feedback is something I firmly believe in giving and as a person I also love to receive valuable feedback from students.

I know it can be hard learning a new language (in my case, Italian), so as a teacher my main priority is to be patient and encouraging. I love the space that working one-to-one brings - the lessons go at the pace and the level you the student need, with feedback given in the way that works best for you, and homework (if wanted) that focuses on consolidating what we cover in lessons. I have completed a 169-hour TEFL qualification, as well as an Advanced Grammar for Online English Teachers course and an IELTS Specialist Teacher course.
