안녕하세요, 김성수 입니다. 저는 여러분에게 한국어를 가르쳐 드리고 싶습니다. Hi, my name is Seongsoo, and I teach Korean. 저는 한국에서 태아나고 자랐습니다. 미국에서 7년 정도 공부하고 한국으로 돌아와서 지금은 서울에 살고 있습니다. I was born and raised in South Korea. I studied in the United States for 7 years. And now I am back in Korea and living in Seoul, Korea.   I speak Korean, English, and Japanese. Korean is my mother tongue, and I use standard Korean. Also, I speak English and Japanese. Regarding Japanese, I can just carry on a general conversation.まだ私の日本語が上手じゃないけれど日本語で話すのが面白くて簡単な会話ができます。Although my Japanese is currently not that good, I enjoy talking and having some conversations in Japanese.

Me as a Teacher

I have a lot of experience teaching Korean to foreigners and always enjoy it- I led numerous one-on-one sessions for American college students and taught Korean courses for American high school students as well as I had some one-on-one lessons with adults. I love to teach Korean because we can talk about many different things and share different ideas and perspectives. I think Learning a language is also learning the culture. So I am looking forward to sharing Korean culture and my experience with you and learning from you. I believe we will have a great conversation, and this class will be a great learning experience.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my lessons with Seongsoo so far. I feel a lot more comfortable speaking thanks to him. He’s patient, encouraging, and always has materials based on I want to learn. He also sends a summary of what we went over that day, which I find incredibly helpful for reviewing. Thank you for being making it very enjoyable to learn Korean!
