Hola! Soy Mao. I am a native Spanish speaker, and I am passionate about languages. I am also an economist and a public accountant. I live in Venezuela, and I have been teaching for over 8 years. In my lessons, you will learn how to communicate more effectively using all the language tools that I will provide you with. In all languages, the most important thing is communication, so I will help you learn how to speak both formally and informally. My lessons are based in conversation but with the application of grammatical concepts and the vocabulary necessary for each situation. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—I will help you. Mao is the best! Not only is she a pleasure to talk with as a friend, but she is also a fantastic teacher. She explains grammar and vocabulary in a way that’s easy to understand and provides many examples.
Mao is the reason I enjoy learning Spanish. Especially when I was just starting to learn and couldn’t yet express myself well, she encouraged me and motivated me to learn so that I could enjoy our conversations even more.
We always talk about a myriad of topics, and even if I don’t know a word or phrase, she always helps me find the best way to express exactly what I want to say.
Through her personality and teaching expertise, she creates a comfortable and fun environment for learning.
No matter what your Spanish level is, you shouldn’t hesitate to book a class with Mao! She will help you reach your language learning goals in an enjoyable and effective way. There is no better Spanish professor on italki than Mao!🥰
