They categorized a number of languages into 5 rankings, based on how many hours are required to reach proficiency as an English speaker. Chinese, Korean, Japnese and Arabic have been ranked as Category 5, which means they're among the hardest to conquer. This may not hit home for Asian speakers, and I wish there was an Asian language difficulty ranking for Asian speakers also. Could someone please edit this?

It's pretty well-written, so it doesn't need much editing. The US State Department has ranked a number of languages by placing them into 5 categories, based on how many hours of study are needed for an English speaker to reach proficiency. Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Arabic are all in Category 5, which means they're among the hardest languages for English speakers to conquer. I wish there was a similar system of difficulty rankings for speakers of Asian languages.

They have categorized a number of languages into five different rankings, based on the number of hours required for an English speaker to reach proficiency. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Arabic have all ranked as a category five, meaning they're among the hardest languages to learn. This may not sit well with Asian speakers. I wish there was a similar ranking system for Asian speakers. Hope this helps.

The only problem here is your use of the expression "hit home". It is not appropriate here. To say that something "hits home" means that it strikes you with a deeply emotional personal impact. The facts that you are discussing are certainly interesting but they are not deeply emotional. Instead, say something like "...may not be pertinent to Asian speakers"

It's perfect.
